I am cleaning and repairing an old infill plane. I am not sure who the original maker was but the base is 9 3/4" long and 2 5/8" wide. The blade is a tapered Thomas Ibbotson, 2 1/8" wide, the cap is an Alex Mathieson & son, Glasgow. I am guessing the infill is probably rosewood. I am scrapping the old gunge off it then will seal and polish. it is a nice addition to my little collection.
