The old chisels I brought home from Dad's house have cleaned up nicely. They are labeled:- "WARD Cast Steel", "Robt Sorby - Cast steel", "W K & C Peace - Sheffield" (I think) , "Swearby", and "Sakescar"? (I think).
Hi Chris - no, there are 2 x 1", 1 x 3/8" , 1 x 5/16" straight sided chisels (I think these are called firmer chisels) and a 1/2" gouge which could also be used for carving.
They look great! Are they carving chisels?
