I have made a couple of dovetail guides today from some off-cut oak. They are 3 1/2” long, 3/4” deep and 1 1/4” wide. They need a bit more finishing, but you get the idea. One angle is 90 deg the other is a ratio of 1/7 (approx 8 deg) they are made to a design by Paul Sellers. Here is his YouTube link showing how they are made and used. http://youtu.be/0dPb_5KFEYk
