My old 1970’s tenon saw now has a smart new oak handle. I cut and shaped it from a piece of old oak skirting board. Then gave it an oak stain and 3 coats of shellac. The 11 tpi blade was sharpened with small triangular file and it now cuts a treat and is very comfy to use.
