I love the design of this commemorative cabinet made by UK furniture maker and designer Katharine Fernie. It was created from oak and copper removed from HMS Victory as part of a recent refurbishment. It forms part of the “1805 Collection” - a collection of limited edition commemorative works by leading craftspeople. http://www.furniture-workshop.co.uk
Another of Katharines cupboards, similar in design to the HMS Victory one.
I agree, that's a nice design. Going to add it to my collection of possible furniture projects. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, they both have an Archibold Knox feel about them
ReplyDeleteI agree Jamie - perhaps some Celtic hinges would add to the style.
